I printed the step by step photos of removing dash. I tried to get the 2 top wiring harnesses disconnected and I could not for the life of me!
The two bottom ones released quite easy by pushing in the "tang" and pulling straight out.
The two top ones..a large one and a smaller one..right next to eachother, seem to be held in by a continous white plastic type "band" that is basically the plastic holder that encompasses the push-in end to the harness. Both the small harness and larger harness look the same.
Well I knew this would happen; I pushed the flat head screwdiver between the band and actual harness and pried up. The larger one that I dicked with broke however the pins still are pushed in.
I have checked over the forum and confused on whether I will be using the 2 top ones. I haven't ben able to find any info at the usa spec or crutchfield site. Is there any way I can fix this? Is it permanently broke? How important is it? I don't know what to do?
Any input would be really appreciated!!

can you post any pics, I just installed mine this Wednesday in a 03 Non Bose. I just took out the bottom right cable and plugged in the adapter and plugged that cable into the adapter and then the 2nd cable in the top left. The top right plug which was brown is empty.
