Default Simple audio set up

What's installed right now:

Alpine ida-x100 headunit
Stock Bose system

Bought:

Alpine e4300 4- Channel Amp

Want:

To run 1 sub in a Zenclosures. I prefer 1 sub because it's going to save weight and I don't want to shell out for another sub.

Is it possible to:

Run the 1 sub with 2 channels on the amp and leave the other 2 channels unused? Or what would be a better way to do this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You can definitely run the sub with 2 channels bridged (provided that amp supports bridging) and not use the other two channels.......later you can run new front components with the other two channels.
