Hi Guys, I am thinking of getting either rear sensors or a camera.
Guys are quoting me $299AU which is nearly $275US to install and paint them when the kits on ebay are about $25!
I thought about just getting a camera but I am worried it won't work that well at night and might be hard to judge distance with it. Is it easy to use? I am getting a Kenwood Double Din HU.
Thanks!

I like the functionality of the sensors better than the camera for actually backing up and trying to get close to objects without hitting them. A camera is ok during the day, but I have yet to see a 'night vision' back up camera that is usable at night. Cameras have that added "wow" factor though.
$275 to install and paint the sensors is not bad. It would cost you at least that to go to a shop and buy a camera and have them install it. You could buy the ebay sensor kit for $25, install it yourself, and take your car to a shop to spray the rear bumper....might be a little cheaper than $275.
