Audio Advice
Hi,
I'm not an audio expert, so would like to ask couple questions. I'm adding a Zenclosure with JL 10W3V3 to my stock Bose system. I don't have money to upgrade the whole system, so I'm keeping the stock HU for now. Here are the questions:
1) Which amplifier should I get?
2) What OHM should I get for the sub (2, 4, or 8)?
Thanks.

I'm fairly certain you can not add an external amp to the Bose system without another component.
That being said, the amp you should get is very subjective. There are many good ones and everyone seems to have their favorite. Go with relatively large name brand and you should be fine.
The ohm you would get will depend on the amp, but in general, getting a sub that is 2ohm or a dual 4ohm you can wire to 2ohm is a safe bet.
Search a bunch here and hopefully you'll be on your way to a nice DIY project.

I did search, but couldn't find anything that is close to my set up.
Thanks again.
Very possible, but I'll leave that answer to someone who knows for sure.
Searching is tough because you never know what terms to use, but I'm sure this issue has been covered before, but don't know what to tell you to search on to find it.... sorry.
Maybe search "Bose" and go through the threads??
