Help, auto-up window function doesnt work.
So im taking apart my door panels to inspect my front speaker, and (dont ask me why) i decided to see how a wire harness plug functions. so i seperate the power window sub switch harness connector, and bam the outer half falls and the inner half gets pushed back. so now all the mf wire pins are out of their connector. Ok no biggie, just need to find a wire diagram and re-pin them in the connector, right? next thing i know the ground pin touches another pin and i hear some kind of short(clicking). no sparks or smoke, so i put everything back together, and my auto-up operation for my passenger door doesnt function! It rolls up if i hold it, and it rolls down if i hold it and the weird part is the auto-down works just fine. driver side is 100% functional. what gives?
Does anybody know how this system works? i dont have the slightest idea how to trouble shoot this problem. all fuses check out under hood and in driver kick panel. what else can i check to solve this prob. any insight will be appreciated.
