I've installed many of them, the old ones and the new ones, and they work great. Most people use them with the Escort 8500, but the new one has a remote mounted display with all the features of the Escort 9500. It's not cheap but I've had several customers that have bought them come back to have them put in other/new cars that they have because they like them so much.
