Default My New Kenwood Install - Problem

Hi Guys, I just got the new Kenwood DDX7032 installed. I absolutely love the HU and would recommend it to anyone. My problem is I ordered the dash kit (yes I got the right one) and everything but when I picked the car up it is sticking out a fair bit. At least 5mm. It is definitely not flush. I understand the dash is curved but it looks like it needs to get pushed back in more. Is it easy for the guy to fix it? Why would he have left it like that? I couldn't mention at the time because I needed to pick the car up and go and he was out for 10 mins.

I bet when I go back in he will say that that is as far back as it will go. I am sure I have seen them on here sitting flush. What is involved with getting it back in?

Thanks.
