Default Radar question

taking into consideration the location of the cigg lighter, do you all find it easier to go with the Passport instead of the V1? those that do use the V1 where do you run the power cord?

Good question. I never thought about it but I guess the coiled cord wouldn't work too well.

I actually bought the remote display module. I haven't hooked it up yet, but it comes with a long straight cable. I'm currently using that, running it down beside the passenger seat, then up the dash, just to the right side of the shifter/controls, then looped over the mirror.

Some day I'll actually install the remote display module then the cable will be hard-wired in.

The V-1 comes with a straight cord. Most people are simply hard wiring the v-1 into the fusebox or the mirror power. No need for ANY cord then.

The red line shows where my wire is to get to the fusebox. I used the cig. lighter fuse.

Mini-poll: who removes their V1 from the windshield whenever they get out of the car for more than a few minutes? :-)

So far I have been doing so. Of course I just cheat and stick it in the little storage space above the big space.
