Just keep in mind that just because you can't find reviews online of something doesn't mean it isn't a great product. There aren't a whole lot of reviews on the Aura NS10-794, but it's one of the best sounding SQ subs that I personally have heard.

I was talking the project over with my dad (mechanical engineer with about 20 years of design exp.) and he said he thinks he can get the ID10 to fit in my current enclosure, he just needs to take some measurements.
I am concerned with the upper and lower portion of the box not having enough material to form a proper seal... anyone have any knowledge?
It's only about .22 to .25" but when there isn't enough, there isn't enough... so I am ill and downtrodden...
P.S. Why does everyone dislike JL so much? I mean I know they are mainstream and not as esoteric as Zapco or DLS, etc. But from my exp. with their products they seem to be pretty solid stuff... Just curious.. that's all.

Dropped the amps bought a 200.2 and a 500.1 by Zapco, kept the fronts but now I am replacing my JL10W0 with something nicer... has a lot to do with the fact that the fronts overwhelm everything with the gains at 0 so I need more output from my sub. I am also installing an AudioControl EQX (Stock headunit, I know, I know...). I will complete my 2nd install on the Weekend of August 15-17.
I am just looking for a solid SQ Sub. if you blind tested me I probably couldn't tell the difference between the W6, D6, IDQ, or any other solid sub, I just want something that will more or less drop in and give me solid bass response...
Anyone know anything about these Fi Audio Speakers? Chi-town's caught my eye and is the Q10 anygood?
Has anyone ever heard of a brand called Treo?

Fi has some tie to RE. Either a couple guys who founded RE broke off and founded Fi.....something like that. It used to be that Fi and RE were almost one in the same.....I'm not so sure lately.
Treo makes some nice subs, but I view them more in the SPL market. i could be wrong. I have no hands on with them.
I had the Diamond D610 in the under strut Zenclosures box and fed it 360 watts (underpowered I know....my mistake during planning) and It sounded very nice and tight. If I kept it I would have probably added a little polyfill to the box to experiment a bit. I am an SQ guy, not big into SPL. My forte is SQ. The Diamond D6 is a sold SQ sub. It is along the lines of the Fi, RE, IDQ, Arc, and others.

would 270 watts be good enough for a 10" Diamond D6?
I know that would be underpowering it a lot, but I'm trying to stay with one amp to power a set of components and the sub and most of those amps don't feed much power to the sub channel.
