I'm sure he's a busy man. His name is spreading like wild fire throughout many many forums these days. I guess that's what happens when you take pride in doing top notch work

Try looking on his website for a phone number maybe?

If you can't get a hold of Bing, try woofersetc.com

IDQ10 mounting depth is 5.75". Zenclosure box (one 10" understrut box) says it will fit up to 7" with a magnet of 6.125"- I couldn't find the mag dimension on the ID site).

Did they say why it won't fit?

Also, on this page, it has a list of all subwoofers that are reported to fit:

It's the mounting diameter, Zenclosure - 9 3/16" IDQ = 9.60, so not it won't fit... I could use a router, but I don't have one and I don't want to spend 125 buying one...

I appreciate the info, but I am going to stick with the box I have.

Ugh... Nazar seems pretty customer friendly. You might want to see if he can modify the box for you.

Yeah between the shipping and handling costs, I would be better off just ebaying my current enclosure and buying a new one... not wanting to go that route...

I just need some solid options for some SQ subs. Just list em, I will narrow them down and ask for more info after that.

Why don't you just make a 1/4" or 1/2" spacer ring for the sub out of some masonite/MDF? Spray it black, you'll never even notice it once mounted and you will have the sub you want in the enclosure you want.

I don't like the way that would look and based on the shape of the basket I think I would need approx .75 to 1" spacer... but I'm not sure, can I get some SQ Sub reccomendations?

JL 10w6's don't get very good reviews on here...
RE subs would require some modification to box because of the 1/16 to 1/4 difference in size for the mounting hole...
ID10's would fit, but they are not very SQ oriented from what I could gather from the frequency response they have posted.

roper, i say see if you can ebay it and get a dual 10" box from mike and use two ID10s, that would be a good solution IMO, would get you slightly more volume than the IDQ as well and sounds good doing it

So just a single ID10 wouldn't do the trick?
