Unhappy My first Z !!!!....., and my First Z problem :(

hi, im a newbie here, but here's my problem. i have an 04 roadster touring with the bose in dash cd changer. ive had the car two weeks and just this morning i noticed the sub woofer cutting in and out i moved the seatback forward and gave the speaker panel a knock with my fist and it came back to life for a while but then out again , anybody have this issue

yup, common problem. mine is doing the same thing. the stock bose amp sucks, period. you can get a used one off a member thats replaced his stereo with aftermarket, but in my mind, its already half worn out hah. I plan on buying a new one until i can go aftermarket. I think there around 100$ from the dealer.

I was super nice and answered your question, but there are a few threads on this topic bud.

OP, this is a common problem. I would suggest not trying to fix it. Just invest in a decent new head unit and replace the speakers all together. Do some searching and reading in the audio section. You will find a wealth of info at your disposal there....

Yeah, you should keep punching it harder until it decides it doesnt want to be abused anymore. That should fix it fine.

thanks for all the help guys (and for not flaming me). oh and mike i did almost go with your suggestion and beat the s*#$ out of it. lol anyway i guess im on the hunt for a new bose ampl, im not really wanting to upgrade the HU at this time, if it dont make it go faster than im not putting it on there hahaha
