got the v1 hardwire kit how do you hardwire it

I ran some phone wire (already has connector that fits the power connection of the V1) down to the fuse panel then connected to an unused slot.

that's all you do??? where does the red and black wires go just splice it into mirror??

I'm wondering the same. I've asked members here what wires in my homelink mirror are positive and negative, and no one ever responds. If you wire it into the mirror, there is no need to go down to the fuse box (just make sure you have an inline fuse between the radar detector and the wire tap going to the mirror.

the red/power and black/ground is how i wired mine up to the mirror

i didnt fuse mine though and havnt had a problem
