Ok so I read about doing this and it not working. well this is true. with the door closed as Im sure anyone who has searched will see there is a big gap up top when you close the cubby door. well i never close my door so i could care less. i used a dremel and took quit a bit of plastic off, the bottom widen the holes on the bottom screw holes that go to the back plate but here is a picture of the almost finished product.



i have to pull it apart my paint was still no try i used to paint the door. but a little super glue and everything should be good. even got the peice in place. its not the neatest look in the world but it will work for me till i glass it up and sand it down.
