Hey just wondering if anybody has any pics on where they put their 3-way component speakers.

I was planning on putting the woofer in the door in fact. location and mid range and tweeter on a pod that sits at the bottom of A-pillar and fires off of winshield...

The only way to run a 3-way... IMO.

6.5's in doors and mid/ tweet in dash pods.

 

I've done a couple of them with the 6" in the doors, and the 4" and tweet in kick pods. The sound quality was great, but I think if done properly it would sound even better with them up higher. The key thing is to get the 4" and tweet staged perfectly.

 

I like how you did your pod DVFlyer i'm prob. going to do the same for my mid and tweet.

Only thing is for the woofer in the door did you put it in the factory location with a spacer or did you use a door pod like the ones from Wicked CAS?

I have the door speakers in door pods also...... and also for sale.

Both my dash pods and door pods were made by Bing from Simplicity in Sound (well known here and on other forums). Very high quality.
