First off, I have an '08 Touring coupe. I installed a Pioneer F90 Navi system with XM radio. I mounted the aftermarket XM antenna under the plastic cover of the rear stabilizer. Since then, I had window tint installed. I did not realize the tint will disrupt the xm antenna's signal .

So my question is: Does anyone know how to use the factory xm antenna (I'm assuming it is the sharkfin antenna) with an aftermarket xm unit??? I don't want to have the aftermarket antenna mounted on the dash.

Tint should not affect that at all. I have mine in the same place under the stock plastic and limo tint over it and it only fades in tunnels.
