go to avic411.com and read about hte issues, if its a newer version with the updated firmware, a lot of the issues will have been resolved.

my main gripes for it is that its still very slow on boot up (though sound will come out pretty quickly) and just slow responses in general compared the old pioneer ones... not sure if its beucase pioneer is now using MIO's interface for the Fseries...

the GUI is very nice looking...

I have one in my '03 Civic. Here are my gripes:

1) Slow on boot-up
2) Horrible at multi-tasking
3) Bluetooth does not work at all with my Blackberry 8130
4) Voice recognition works great! 50% of the time.

I know there are bugs to work out but its really annoying so far.

+1 on slow start up, not good at multitasking at all. Slow loading time in between screens. Just SLOW all together

As an update, we got a firmware updated one at my dealer, and it still sucks, we normally back pioneer products but this time we're not, we're actually gonna test a lower unit and see if it runs any better, lol.
