Default Problem with Stock Horn and/or stock Alarm

Hey Guys,

I got in my car this morning, turned it on and started to drive away and as I did, my horn went off aout 3-4 times, then stopped. Then I get to work, parked and attempted to activate the stock alarm and the horn started going off again, non stop. The only way it stopped was if I put in my key and turned on the car. To reiterate, this wasn't the on-off horn that goes off when the alarm is triggered, instead it was a nonstop honk. Any help or suggestions?

BTW, There was a massive thunderstorm yesterday, which I did drive in and a lot of electrical activity.
thanks for any hlep in advance!!

Definitely sounds electrical... check under your dash for any burnt wires, etc..

Sorta hard to diagnose w/o being there =[

Have you ever had aftermarket electrical work done to the car before? Alarm, Stereo... etc

FYI to those that make come across this in the future......yeah, it was the battery. i replaced it b/c the orig went dead. I guess so much for lasting 3-4 years as it was supposed to, instead 18 months!! oh well. thanks.
