Default Infinity Basslink (or some other sub/amp) w/Bose HU

Okay, 3 hours of searching and reading. Here's where I am:

Cash tight. Like to spend $200 or less if poss.

My Bose sub amp blew out. I don't want to replace the amp and keep the Bose sub so I've decided to go aftermarket sub/amp. I've read good things (here and Crutchfield) about the Infinity Basslink. I've seen pics of one installed in place of the removed Bose sub (but that person is no longer a Forum member here so I can't ask him.)

https://my350z.com/forum/3630902-post7.html

Question: Where can I find out how to connect the Basslink to the existing Bose HU? What wiring kit do I need to buy?

I have found all kinds of threads on how to remove the current sub, direct-wire power from the battery for an amp, remove the dash panel to access the stereo, etc. I just need to know how to connect the Basslink in place of the current sub because I know you can't use the existing wires.

On a side note:
I'm headed toward the Infinity Basslink because it is a self-contained package with the amp included and it's under $200.
If you have a better suggestion (separate amp and sub w/wiring kit) and can tell me where I can read about connecting that to my Bose HU, I'm all ears. I just want to keep the cost around $200 and keep it in the stock location. I'm not after competition sound, just bass to replace my broken sub amp. I don't even mind building a box as suggested in this thread:

Thanks. Good info in that thread I hadn't seen elsewhere.

The only problem is that there is a graphic mentioned that's missing. (What should I expect for a 2004 thread anyway?) I'll try to PM the guy who had posted it originally (even though it's been around a month since he last posted).

Thanks again.

I got one and installed it. I started a new thread about it here:
