Default one or two 10" subs?

im looking at getting either one or two infinity perfect 10.1 subs to compliment my two sets of perfect components off a jl audio 300/4 amp. I can crank my headunit (kenwood) all the way to 35 with very minimal distortion. I was wondering, should I get one or two subs? I don't want to overpower the components with bass or spend more money than I need to. They are rated 350RMS 1400peak. I plan on putting these in a cheap pre-made box (for now) behind the strut firing up... thanks

One since you don't have enough power to handle two.

FYI: two subs are easier to tune than 1.
