Default Reseting Navi?? Instructions asign HOME?

I got my car 2 months ago and I really haven't played with the Navi, because IMHO I think the Nissan Navi is crap compared to Lexus or Acura. I don't know if I got the Navi manual, but I do know all I got was this 10 page booklet about the Navi that doesn't tell me crap. So...to get to my problem...I wanted to reset the navi or change my home address. I guess some jerk that played with the navi before I purchased my car and set it to Las Vegas as HOME. Anybody that can help me out would appreciate.

I did a search but didn't find anything.

thnx

on the main (setup) menu page, make sure 'long menus' or something to that effect is enabled. THen go to edit address book, and change the #1 entry.

There is also a complete book that should have come with your owner's manual. It's about 100pp... haven't read through all of mine yet... I keep falling asleep.

I don't know what you searched on but a quick search on NAV and PDF provides:

"
http://www.nissan-techinfo.com

Specifically, for the Navigation system, follow that link, then:

1. select "Owner Manuals" button on the left column

2. select "Vehicle Navigation Systems"

3. select the first line "Navigation System Manual - Infiniti G35 2003 "

-or-

4. right-click ont he first line and "save target as..."

Oops. It appears that the site doesn't provide public access any longer.
