dont mean to be a noob question and im too lazy to search so no flaming!

whats the biggest size sub i can fit in the stock bose sub location? would a pioneer 12" slim fit?

I think it can if you customize it. Just to use exsisting opening maybe only a 10'.

A 10 will fit. A 12 is too big. The 10 has to be a certain size (kinda big) to fit the hole right.

If it's not a free-air sub, it's not going to sound that great.

I know what'll fit! A nice big box of kleenex.
Seriously, don't even bother putting a 10" or a 12" sub in there. Get a real enclosure with a real amplifier and throw it in the trunk. Even those pre-built Zen boxes would be better than that stock tin can behind the seat.
