Hey guys... have a question about my head unit. Let me start with background.
About two months ago, some lovely young lady who lives in my building managed to smash into the side of my parked car. Splendid. So I imagine my alarm probably went off for quite a while.
Ever since, my sound system will not turn on. At all. I have an Alpine CDA-9835...
Anyhow, is there some sort of trigger that might have been hit that kill switched my headunit? A reset sequence maybe? I know if I take it into a car audio place they'll have answers but a lot of the places around here aren't the most "delicate" of install facilities and they're more your rush it out the door good enough type. They already broke the top mounting of the plastic piece for my passenger side door tweeter mount (the one inside from the side mirror).
So if there is a "reboot" method I can use before having to take it in somewhere I'd appreciate it. And if it doesn't work... blech I hope something isn't seriously wrong.
Thanks

There is a soft reset button when you remove the face. You'll need a paperclip or pencil to reset it.
That should reset the deck. If not, call Alpine tech support ... never had a question they couldn't answer.
