Default Compustar problem

Hi all,

I have the CompuStar Pro P2WSSR and recently I had my car jump started. After this the fob wasn't responding and kept saying SYNC, so we took it in to the audio place and they replaced the entire system and all was working fine. a few days later the fob wasn't responding again and then it's starting to say SYNC again now. Fresh batteries and I've tried to manually resync it and still no success. The shop that replaced it did so free of charge but they'll charge if I come back so in an effort to save some bucks I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what could be wrong. Thanks in advance

Woah...woah...woah....

They'll charge you if you come back again? What the hell kind of asstastic service is that? If they actually said that to you then you need to have a word with them.

Compustar has an incredible warranty program. They will replace any defective product free of charge no questions asked! Now if the shop is either too inexperienced or just plain cheap, they should just pack up and get into politics or city work.

Have you tried reprogramming the remote via the ignition (on/off 5 times then press button #1 on each remote)?
