Default Quick AVIC-F90BT question...

Does bypassing it disable the mute function?

Sorry if this has been asked before. :-/

Do you have a car phone kit hooked up to the mute wire that 'shuts up' the stereo everytime the phone rings? I didn't think so. Those systems are pretty old so I would doubt that you would ever miss it. Bluetooth's where its at anyways.

That said though, you could replace the grounded bypass wire with another unused wire. It doesn't have to be the yellow/black mute wire.
