Infinity Bass Link 2 In factory Location

Hey guys ive searched but i hav only really found information on the original basslink system not the basslink2 have any of you installed the second version of this in your stock location? any tips or steps i have to take and pieces to remove.. Also anyone had luck wiht the 4sc add in amp?

I'm probably going to go this route also. Don't see why the bass link 2 would not work if the original bass link fits in the bose sub location. I'd be interested in your comments if you do this mod.
