Default Kenwood Music Keg installed!

I got my Music Keg and FM Modulator installed yesterday. I would recommend it to anyone, it is great. Good sound quality and tons of music. Just put it on random for the whole collection and then sit back and not worry about any commercials or crappy songs.

The Keg is mounted in the glove compartment and the FM mod face is in the empty Nav area, it looks great and it is stealth.

Just thought I'd let you guys know, great product at a fair price (especially off of ebay)

No pics yet, if I take some, I'll post 'em.

BrickydZ, I liked your install but i couldn't find the piece to put it in that compartment. Oh well, at least mine is hidden from potential thieves.

Default Faceplate?

Your gonna laugh at this. I asked my dealer for a price on the faceplate and they told me at first $1100.00........

After I gasped, they laughed and told me it only comes as part of the 6 cd changer, and that I would have to buy it at $1100.00 to get it.

While I like my dealer, I made my mind up never to take anything they say on faith again. (They had never heard of the window grease TSB until I told them.)

Searched a bit and found both frost and charcoal faceplates at UltimateZ.com in Chicago. $10.00 plus S&H.

I bought two just I case I do something with the other side as well. Maybe a DVD or something, Who knows....

Anyway from my pictures, you can see the match is perfect for color and grain.

Have a Great Day in your Z.

Ps: I JUST got back from a lunchtime drive in the country. We have a 10 mile, almost straght, two lane rd just outside the city. I just topped it out at 154 mph. I dont know if it was the heat or what but it just wouldn't go any higher.

Take Care
