hey guys,

well i tried searching if there is a posible way to connect a seperate screen to my portable navigation. i have a AVIC-S1 portable navigation, can it be done? the screen on my S1 is about 3.5inches, and i would like to hookup a seperate 7inch screen to fill in the gap in the cubby. has anyone tried this?

^^ The AVIC-S1 doesn't have video/out, so it isn't possible to connect the device to an external monitor.

The only product I am aware of that does this is the Alpine Blackbird PMD-B200. You can dock this portable GPS inside Alpine's IVA-W205 Double DIN AV head unit. When you dock the GPS, the image displays on the IVA-W205's 6.5” touch screen.
