Default No Limits! What would you do?? Need advice :)

Alright.. So I turned away from the people I was originally going with to do my audio install.. My friend who has been doing home/car audio install since the 70's just bought a new shop.. also has a paint room.. So.. My car is going to basically going to be the face of his shop.. And I want some ideas on what I wanna get done.. No labor costs.. Only gotta get the materials and what will be used.. If you had no limits on what you could get done.. What would you do..?? I was looking at some other installs and getting ideas.. But Im going with all JL + the AvicD3 setup.... Any ideas??

leather wrapped box for subs that make it look like it came factory. i perfer clean looking audio as opposed to something wild with neons everywhere. the harder it is to tell its aftermarket the better the business looks in my eyes.

Yeah listen to this guy...no wild neons everywhere. I'd actually skip the leather as well.

i was thinking the leather that the armrests are wrapped in would be nice or a fabric that matches the trunk. if the amp looks nice you can show it off maybe, otherwise hide it

you can still use lighting and still make it very classy and sexy.

G37S

Use very limited amounts of vinyl and frame it off with some nice synthetic Suede and it'll look hot.

Are you shooting for SPL or SQ? Focal components with JL subs/amps seems like the way to go. Like the others said, keep it looking as stock as possible!

I don't know what your listening tastes are, but speakers that seem to please a good percentage of its listeners would be DLS Iridium, Hertz, Polk SR along with Morel. Speakers that or love it or hate it would probably be Dynaudio, Focal, and JL. Give them all a listen and pick what suits your tastes and budgets. I personally would lean towards the Polk SR or Hertz.

hertz hsk-163 is the bomb

i listen to everything from death metal - rap - classical - electronic and love them

probably my favorite upper mid level 3-way set

what boom did you decide on?

go with the pioneer F90 bt if its going to rep the shop... no need for 3 year old equipment

If I had no limits, JL equipment and an AvicD3 would not be anywhere near my list of things to install.

+1

My list of equipment would be something like this;

Clarion DRZ9255 or Alpine F#1 Status DVI-9990 head unit
Zapco DSP6-SL or Alpine PXI-H990 processor
Audison VRx or Zapco Competition amps
Rainbow Reference Line 3-ways, Alpine SPX-Z18T 3-ways, or Seas Lotus Reference 3-ways for the front stage run active
Image Dynamics iDMax (if you like loud) or Seas Lotus subs
And last but not least one hell of a good installer to make all this work in harmony

Not to hijack this thread, but THAT IS A LIST OF SOMEONE WITH NO LIMITS! God, any of that equipment installed together would be pure bliss.
