Question Question for Sony WX-7700MDX Owners

To anyone who has installed the Sony WX-7700MDX HU, I have a few questions:

1) How many AUX inputs/outputs does the HU have?
2) Do I need a special wiring harness or will a standard one work?
3) Where can I get the wiring harness? (I don't suppose PriceJapan.com or Melting-Pot.com have the harnesses available?)

I'm buying one soon, but am hoping to figure out the answers to these questions before I do. Thanks in advance for your time and help!!

The manual should answer all of your questions: http://www.minidisc.org/manuals/sony...wx-7700mdx.pdf

Unless you read Japanese I imagine you still have questions.

It has Audio outputs front/rear, a subwoofer output, power aerial relay control terminal, power amplifier control terminal.

Inputs are telephone ATT control terminal, Illuminaton control terminal, BUS control input terminal, AUX IN terminal, Aerial input terminal.

I ordered a wiring harness from car toys for a 97 and up Nissan.
Figure this should work. Installiing this Friday.

I ordered the Sony from silviaparts.com for $660 and my manual has English as well as Japanese.

Hey drw... any chance you could share the love of an english manual with the rest of us?? or at least make a photocopy and mail it to me.... ($$$ of course)
I just installed mine this week (love it of course). All the wiring was very easy - colors are standard for hookups.

dingo,

OK sure, but it may not be for a while. I'm right in the middle of a
Alarm/Audio/Video install and its taking a lot of my spare time. Just
PM me with your address info and I'll see what I can do when I finish with my car. I hope a photocopy would turn out OK. The print is pretty small.
