Replace Bose speakers with old set of Eclipse 8263?
I found a pair of Eclipse 8263 6.5 speakers (they have been sitting around since the late '90s). My 2005 has Bose speakers.
The Eclipse 8263 are:
40 watts RMS
80 watts peak
90Hz-20kHz freq resp
97dB sensitivity
1-7/8" mounting depth
mica/poly cone, rubber surround material, kapton voice coil former, mylar tweeter dome, ferrite magnet.
I'm trying to find out if these are a worthwhile replacement to the Bose my car came with...what exactly are the specs on the factory Bose?
If these are better, should I throw them up front of in the back?
