^^^ damn you really want to break your windows.....

You should only go with one sub. The Z is all open in the back causing you to hear more bass then usually.

2 jl subs in your trunk with 1000 watt amps = bleeding ears....

just my 2 cents though

Not a huge fan of the W7 but if you go for it, go for one with that one 1/1000 and you're set. Please make sure that you get the enclosure custom built. A pre-fab box with that sub is counter-productive. A few more things...

- Sound deaden with quality materials
- Upgrade grounds and alternator wire
- Make sure your deck has at least 4 volts at pre-out

If you skip any of the above you may as well not even do the install.

I had that same setup in my Yukon for a while. Even with 3 Optima batts and a 130 amp alternator the amps would shut down from low voltage. It was stupid loud though...

1st Steup
sub.... 1 JL audio 10"
amp.....500/1 JL audio amp

2nd Setup
sub.....1 JL audio 12"
amp....1000/1 JL audio amp

You will also need a 4 gauge amp wiring kit. Ebay has them for like $40.

This 1st system is pretty conservative and gives deep clean bass. The second setup is pretty damn loud in a Z. Get the second setup only if you really want a lot of BASS.....

Either 2 10W6's or 1 12W6 is my choice. The W7's are over-rated on so many levels IMO.
