Yeah, the wiring in the doors sucks a$$. I found a dremel is best for getting in there and drilling a hole for the wiring. Thats a different topic though...
Thanks for sharing the pic, that plexiglass looks great man!

No prob, I'm usually on all day at work. One thing you want to keep in mind as well is overheating. Even my setup in the summer overheats once in awhile...that first post you put up must either have some huge fans going (which would be loud) or he has overheating issues (or maybe he lives in Alaska).

Most good amps are pretty hard to overheat. I have a jl 500/1 and a dls ra20 in my bose compartment. Those can breath a little, i also have a dls ra40 in my glovebox that cant get any air at all and it barely gets hot.

damn is it that bad?

The guy that I'm getting some of my stuff from, gti303 on here, sent me e-mail last night saying he's uninstalling speaker cable and he reiterated also how big of a PITA is to install/uninstall the cable through the door

Did you guys use 350 z tech's guide or what?

It depends on the size of your amp, and if you want it to fill the entire cubby, etc. I can give you mine, but I made mine according to my JL Audio 300/2 and the amp sits in it nicely with about 2 inches of space on three sides, and the front is open with about 3 inches to the end of the MDF.

I would like to fill the entire cubby and if not... then to be able to fit my Alpine PDX amp and Focal crossovers.

why not just take measurements yourself? It probably wont be exactly the same on everyones cubby, ya know? Take some cardboard and cut / trim til it fits to your liking and then transfer it to MDF

+1...its not hard to measure it out with cardboard and you can make it custom fir your amp(s).

Unfortunately, gti303 speaks the truth. If you can get away with mounting your crossovers in the door, do it. Otherwise, save the doors for last. If you have man-hands like mine, they are going to be hamburger afterwards.

Just go slow and careful. Do the passenger side first, as it is harder, and it will get you in the groove (I like getting the hard tasks out of the way first). But yes, I used the guide from 35Oz tech.
