Default My dream set up...

I'm thinking of placing the Alpine subs in the stock location behind both the passenger and driver seats. I'll be sacrificing better sounding low end for room in the back but the stock feel will be there. The Amps will probably go somewhere behind the rear speakers don't know how I'm going to hide those yet.

Thats a pretty nice setup ... but while you are dreaming ... why not go something more exotic ... dreams have endless amounts of cash .... USE IT ALL hehehe

but seriously, that would be a hella system to throw in the Z

Hehe...it's my "what I can afford" dream set up....I only have the head unit and one sub with the door components coming in soon.

those subs will not sound good in the stock location unless you build a custom box...

Yes, that seems to be the word around here and I agree. Low frequency waves will bounce off the seats and not be free to extend. I don't want to spend 300 bucks for a pair of boxes when you can pay 20 bucks for wood and do them yourself. Time to bust out my carpentry skills

Yup, took the pics from Alpine's web site and the Z 3d model from a picture someone posted here la long time ago. All done with photoshop. It's kind of motivating in a way...
