Default Sirius Satellite Radio

Anyone have the Sirius Satellite Radio installed?

Which hardware did you get. I have a chance to get a deal on Sirius with either Kenwood Here2Anywhere System KPA-H2C or Audiovox S.R.S.SIR-CK1. Please let me know what you think.

I'll be installing it in my 04 Roadster that is scheduled to arrive in Oct.

I just got it two days ago, it's really cool you wont regret getting it. I went with the kenwood ktc-sr902, it's not removable or any thing like that. I had it installed in the nav compartment, really clean looking.sorry I dont have pics yet. I wish I would of gone with the audiovox one just because of the display, its larger and shows more information but I am happy with the kenwood. check out this place, lots of helpful info.http://www.siriusbackstage.com/forum/index.php

Thanks! I'll go with the Audiovox based on your opinion then. Hope you have a chance to post pics of your installation.

I went with xm. Better price and I got a Sony head unit. Have had it for a year and had no problems. Greatest invention in a long time. No matter if you go with xm or sirius, you will love it.

Yeah I have Alpine with XM, and it's by far the best audio purchase ever! One great thing is that if you hear a song you like just write down the artist and title from the display so you can download it/buy it later.

I went with Clarion. Cost $200 including installation. There was a promo for a free tuner recently that might still be on.

I ordered my Z with Sirius pre-wired. I haven't gotten it yet but my main reason for going with Sirius is they have a special going now for $399 you get the service unlimited for the life of the radio. Both services seem to have similar line-ups to me.

Can't help you with which system to get though. Good luck!

I haven't seen anything from Sirius on that $399 for life service. Can you let me know where I can look it up or subscribe to it?

Thanks,

Warren

A lot of people mount the antenna on the right side of the rear strut brace. If you have tint on the rear window it might cause issues, but I'm not 100% sure.
