v1 stealth mount
My current mount is on the visor, angled a bit downward to get a bit of signal from the rear. There's 2 problems with this... the rear reception still sucks, and it doesnt seem that stable. I saw a thread about some guy using a remote disp and mounting it on the top of the hatch window. I'm currently thinking about something similar, but easier to do: just stick it in the middle of the top of the strut bar. I feel like reception should be ok front and back (esp if you look back, you can see that it would look out of both front and back windows, but I am slightly concerned about its relatively low height. Anyone know enough about radars to tell me if this is a legitimate concern?

Get yourself one of these and never worry again: http://www.countryjoycrafts.com/350Z/valentinemount.htm
If you have a homelink mirror you can hardwire into the mirror for power.
It's pretty sensitive and picks up radars very well. Not sure if it being on the visor obstructs it much but I know I wouldn't want it up there just cause you're probably taking your eyes off the road to see where the signal is coming from.
