I have one and it works great. Just be sure to hardwire the V1 to your mirror if you have home link. An amazing radar detector and has saved me many times.

How do you hardwire it into the mirror? I have homelink mirror and the guy I bought my V1 from on here provided me with the short cable to plug into the homelink mirror but I never hardwired it... what wire do I connect it with? Are there any pics of hardwiring install?

That's hardly a "stealth" install. In fact, it couldn't be more obvious and only worsens the blind spot caused by the rear view mirror.

Here's another thread in addition to the ones previously mentioned...

Here's my install:

That's what's meant by "stealth". Of course, it helps to have one of these:

Here's my install:
This is how I installed my V1, except i didn't go as baller and put the remote display in the mirror. I just made a bracket and stuck it high up on the glass on the drivers side of the rear view. I also put the remote power and volume module in the cubby in the center console.

it's really easy, unplug the connector from the back of the homelink mirror, there will be three wires going into it. The black invisicord lead always goes into the black wire, but the there is some variation on the color of the positive wire, it can be either black/pink, brown, or black/red. On my 08 i had a black wire, a black/red wire, and an orange wire. The correct location for the positive lead was the black/red. Just insert the pins into the back of the connector and plug it back into the mirror.
