Default Adding Sub to Bose, ? on tapping into speakers

Okay so i am installing a JL 10W6V2 with a JL 500/1 amp, and i have a bose setup, and i am keeping the factory headunit, for now at least.

I am trying to figure out where i can tap into the speakers, I am actually wondering if i can just tap into the factory subwoofer wiring, I am planning taking the factory sub out, but figure if the connection is there can i use it?

If not where is the easiest place to tap into the wiring?

Help would be appreciated very much, Thank you. want to get this ready so for when the car comes out next month. Unfortunately snow is planned for tonight up here in the sticks of maine. https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

You need to get a factory service manual online. Complete with wiring diagrams.

I do have the service manual and have verified the wiring diagrams, however the reason i ask is because everyone who does what i am doing always taps right into the bose speaker amp or the two rear speakers directly, and since im taking the bose sub out completely, and im just leaving the bose sub amp in the vehicle so i dont lose it, why not just tap into the sub input that is already there.

But i was hoping someone could verify i could do this before i spend the time hooking this up to find it doesn't work. its not like i need a stereo input into the jl amp or sub, i just need mono. which this should do just fine.

Thanks for the help.
