I have a Fosgate 10" Punch sub mounted in the oem sub location. Although I've dynammatted the crap out of it, it's still vibrating and distorting badly.

I need to get a custom box, but I don't want to add too much weight and I also want to keep the look clean.

I saw that Zen has this small corner box. Anyone have it and how does it sound? What other options do I have? I know JL makes the Stealth box but it's $800 AND, i think it'll add alot of weight.

That box is slightly small, but it might work ok.

their corner boxes look better IMO... love Z-Enclosures, just not their corner box

 

wicked makes good stuff, but come on now....those prices are way too inflated!!! i'd rather pay someone at a local shop to make my box for those prices, it'll be the same quality and fitment if they made it on my car.

 

looking into a magic box by wicked .. .. need to know if anyone has opinions.. also .. alpine spx 17 pro or hertz hi energy .. pdx5 or 500\5 .. or should i just zen with a xtype 10 ... so many options, so much cash .. i listen to rock primarily .. no rap (unless you consider public enemy) i already have a w505 hu & need help .. i put infinity reference comps & co's off the deck .. but .. i think i need to up the speakers along with the juice to em .. HELP !!

awww come on i just wanna try out the w505, heard great things about it

 

I'll say it's about 50 times better & more intuitive than any Pioneer or kenwood!

THe price you see on that sight is not necessarily the price you pay .. They were VERY fair to me .. & I'm A Tight *** New Yorker
