Which one guys? Id like to hear from some guys that either of these units.

 

Get the AVIC-Z3. I love mine. Just make sure you buy the bluetooth adapter.

 

avic f700bt ... comes with built in navi and bluetooth

 

or avic f900bt if u want to watch dvds, but whose gunna watch dvds in a 2 seater

 

doesnt the 700 and 900 take like 3 years to start up?

 

yeah ive heard of the sloooooooooooow start up on the F-series models Concave, im definently out on that one

 

2ndgen how long have you had you z3, and have you modded it (bypass, wallpapers, backgrounds)??

 

I actually have the z2 which is pretty much the same head unit. I have had it for almost a year. Mine is bypassed and I have uploaded custom backgrounds on to it. Both are extremely easy to do.

the boot up time on the f series is like 1 min, but the music starts playing after 10 to 15 seconds ... its not bad at all

 

do you have a newer model or did you do the software upgrade, matrix?

 

I just bought one a week ago, i think i might do the Avic f700bt bypass from avic411

 

z3 hands down ive had a z2 for over 2 years now and still love it as much as i did when i got it.

 

If you care about picture quality get the alpine. It actually has a proper screen resolution. The Avic is less than half the rez of the Alpine and completely insufficient for watching DVDs.
