Hey guys i thought this was pretty cool, i wanted to get a whole new head unit just so i can play my ipod through it and not transmit it but then i came across this and im wondering if this will work and be good with the factory bose?

Check out the specs on Harman Kardon's site. It's still an FM transmitter, just a little more fancy. There is an adapter that connects to the antenna directly, but you still have to find a "dead" frequency to play through as near as I can figure. Their description of the unit seems very purposefully vague.

 

my friend put one of those in his corvette and it seems to be giving him lots of problems...

 

I think I'd go for a USA-spec unit (which I have used) before I would get this thing. It looks cool, but I couldn't imagine it working that well.

 

Thanks guys. Any suggestions for cheapest way to get ipod to connect and sound good, also its a pain cuz its just on a transmitter dock in the back ciggerate lighter so i have to reach back to change song, ect.
