Fosgate P3 10" question
The sub is rated at 400w rms, 800 max. My current amp is an elemental designs NINe.2x putting at 600w x 1 @ 4ohm. I was thinking of purchasing a P3D210 but a friend of mine who is an installer told me that P3's take ALOT more power than they say similar to the alpine type r's and that I wouldn't have enough power for them. What do you guys think? Anyone out there with a P310 and if so how much power are you putting to it?

I got a p3. Im running 300w at 4 ohms and it hits nice. Only problem is that i put it in the stock location and it sounds like ish. But as far as power, im 100 watts under recommended rms and its loud.

Nah i havent. Ive seen a p2 and the p3 just seems better built, it just feels more solid. Im sure the p2 is also a good sub but i have always liked p3s due to their power.
