Default Problems with Pioneer Avic-N3 install

So today i installed an avic N3 in my 2006 touring. i hooked up all the wires and it works but with the following problems:

Have a very loud alternator noise

The speed pulse wire is hooked up but the speed shows always 10-15 miles more than actual speed

Service engine light is on..

Any help will be deeply appreciated Thanks

Managed to get the Check engine light off with a manual ECU reset, Alternator noise is somewhat under control with a ground loop isolator but still some noise, Vss wire hooked up to the white wire behinf ac controls but showing inaccurate speed

first thing i would ask is the noise does it get louder when you accelerate or stay the same? Once we can for sure pinpoint the problem we can fix it.

second question is did you use the factory harness ground or did you ground it else where? If else where the where?

on the vss issue i will look into and see what i come up with

The 350Z is a noisy car electrically.

Ground - make sure it's clean of paint and put it as close as possible to the battery's ground post. If you don't run a cable all the way to the battery there is a stock ground point right behind the triple gauge cluster in the middle of the dash.

I'm assuming you didn't install an amplifier so that RCA cables are not the problem.
