Default Sub Enclosure Building - 101

After doing much searching in the Audio and Video forum for audio build ideas and sub box locations and builds I learned more than enough on the type of system I want to build and the components I want to use. So thank you all for the information that you have posted here. What I could not find was an easy step by step description on building a sub enclosure. Things like how big or small the box needs to be, to port or not, what type of material to use or the different ways to wire the amp and subs. Then I found this site on the Rockford Fosgate web site http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/box_wizard.asp
It has really helped me out and answered many of my questions. I hope that it helps other as well.

Enjoy.

I felt the same way when I built a box for three 10s to go into my altima. Surprisingly enough, they hit 156.8db. I've since sold the car and was thinking about one 12 in. for the Z. This website answered all of my questions and then some. On the right side of the site #116 will help build the box.
