Lightbulb Digital Designs Component Speakers

I know Digital Designs makes great subs but has anyone ever used DD component speakers? I'm particularly interested in the SQ of the DD tweeters but information regarding the 6.5" mids would be great too.

I absolutely love the new DD German made component speakers. I really don't think I have heard a tweeter that sounds this good in my life. They are in a tuned enclosure and easily play down to 800 hz. which eliminates the need for a mid range 'vocal' speaker. You don't need a 3-way once you get your hands on these.

I was skeptical on the midbass though until I put them in my fibreglass door pods. These things love lots and lots of power! I have them playing down to 50 hertz and I am running 350 clean watts to each driver. Yeah, a little overkill but I have more headroom than a midget in a minivan. The only thing I am not to happy with is the crossover they provide as they tend to make the tweets a little too bright. I made mine active so there are no problems there.
