Can the JL AUDIO 8w7 sub have the 500/1 amp or is that to much power. ??

also, am i better off keeping my 2 DB840DVC POLK AUDIO 8inch subs or should i get the 8w7 !? thanx guys

 

Yes it can handle that power... I have it in my Zed at the moment... (it has to be tuned properly tho..)

 

That's a perfect match. I run JL Audio in competitions (3) 10" with a 1000/1 and they are crystal clear. W7 = No worries.

 

how do you like it !? and do you only have one ? good amount of bass?
