4 channel kenwood excelon 60x4 amplifier
2 pairs of boston acoustics components
infinity basslink
KDC-X559 Kenwood excelon head unit
VS735 Clarion DVD/VCD/CD single din unit *underneath kenwood*
7" farenheit TMR-7001R screen
im psyched...ill be watching old school hiphop videos in the z all weekend

If you get crappy radio reception after the install, it means your installer made a mistake, but one that is easy to make.
The Z does not have a power antenna, but it does have a antenna amplifier that is triggered off the power antenna lead. Some installers are not hooking up the power antenna lead because they think it is not needed. If after installation your radio will seek beyond all the stations and not lock on, take the car back and have them splice the "amp turn-on" lead from the radio to your amp turn-on lead and the pwer antenna lead on the wiring harness.
Just a little suggestion. It took me a little while to realize that I had missed this too when I completed my install.

Thanks for the info peptid...I installed my Alpine and noticed it would only pick up a few fm stations, whereas before it would get many more. I never listen to am/fm anymore, but this is very good info!
