Default JL 13tw5 vs 10w3v3-which to choose?

I cannot decide whether the 13tw5 or the 10w3v3 would be the better choice. I am planning on purchasing a Wicked glove box box to go behind the drivers seat, and so was asking that anyone that has experience with either of these to let me know how you like your decision. I just bought a 10w3v3 last week, but have yet to buy the box. My question is will the 13 provide significant bass response over the 10?

I would normally assume so, but I have no experience with shallow or free air subs, so wanted some input on which would be the better choice. I am running off an alpine pdx-5, rated at 300w rms to the sub channel.

wow i cant even imagine having that btl 15 with 2x1000/1s....that would be scary loud. I had a 13w7 on a 1000 but i have a feeling after reading about those that sub would blow it away...ive actually never seen that company but it looks like quality gear

JL states that the 10" is good for 84.9 dB at 31.5 Hz, and the 13" does 87 dB to 23.7. I'll take them at their word.

"Real" (naturally produced as played by the artist) music really lacks a lot of energy below 40 Hz and almost none below 30 Hz. Even the bass guitar and kick drums are not lower than that. The processed urban dance music has artificially created sound down there a plenty so if that's your trip you're better off with the extra +2 dB (that's a lot) and the extra half and octave of lower response.

Movies can have lots of energy below 40 Hz and some have tremendous sounds down well into the sub-sonic range to 6-8 Hz.
