hey guys, i'm getting my viper 5901 installed this week, still debating on whether to install the auto starter or not...
labour would cost extra, that money I can put towards getting tints or something...
anyway, one thing that caught my attention on one of the threads on this forum is that somebody mentioned that having auto starter is good for the clutch as the bearing is not used when starting up the car? something along those lines...i'm not mechanically knowledgeable enough to know the specific details on this...is this true?
also, I have a 2003 track, I'm in Canada, it is a Canadian car...
does it have an immobolizer? b/c i think the auto start would disable the immobilizer...
in the U.S. the track has the oem security system and immobilizer as standard...
couldn't find info about canadian models...mine does have the oem alarm system...
