OEM Back up camera
Question: Has anyone ever tried installing the back up camera from a G37 or Nissan Murano onto their 350Z? Is it possible to hook up the OEM camera to an aftermarket head unit like the Kenwood DNX7140? Do the back up lines show up like they do on the G37?
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

theres no point of installing a g37 backup camera to your 350z. first of all it would cost too much to buy it as a part. second the lines will not show up because it was built in their system, meaning it is written to work with the steering wheel position and what not.
there is a camera on ebay that is 32 bux and it is a lil bigger than stock camera. and it has the line but the line does not move and is pretty much useless.
hope this response help.

I am getting a backup camera and monitor installed in a few days along with a sirius portable unit. The montor is supposed to have the lines. I will post pics when done.
I had the same two things done to my Titan a few weeks ago, minus the monitor with the lines. It is a flip down DVD monitor mounted low in the center stack on the tranny bump, where fold out cup holders used to be.
The Z's monitor will be smaller and go in the flip up, center dash cubby so I can hide it when the cubby door is closed.
