Default How to remove the kick plate?

I'm trying to remove the kick plate on the passenger side and it doesn't seem to want to come off. I don't want to force it or anything if it's not supposed to pop right off or whatever. Here is a pic of what I mean. the thing on the right

I got the nut off, but It doesn't want to budge. Do I just need to give it a lot of force?

yup, find on the edge closest to the door where they snap in. wiggle your finger in there and pull where it snaps in. they will come out.
